As soon as the Tripp designed Mystere was lifted out this morning the J class yacht Ranger came straight into the pit and the crane was set up for our next rig pull. The 53 meter Southern Spars rig had already been prepared so it was a quick job for Morgan to connect the crane to the lifting sling and Andy to drop the rig down off the shims and unload the EC6 standing rigging so the pins could be removed.

The larger mast partners in the deck make this mast easier to get out of the boat than Velsheda so within an hour of Ranger arriving in the pit the mast was ashore and in the trollies lying beside the already stripped Velsheda mast that came out yesterday. The mast and rigging will have a full inspection and any necessary service work carried out over the winter in preparation for a big summer of regattas next year starting with the J Class event in the Super Yacht Cup in Palma in June.
