This picture shows a new Halyard supplied to a boat.

The crew, suspecting something was wrong, brought it in to the workshop in STP Palma for the RSB Splicing team to look at. The unloaded end of the line should have had a flemish eye to finish it; it also looked like the core had been dragged around the workshop a few times before it was over braided which looks less than perfect.

For the price of a new specialist line, you should be supplied with a flawless, high quality finish.
