Yesterday saw the first mast of the year being unstepped here in the STP yard in Palma. The guys had prepared the mast onboard the 39 meter Bill Tripp designed Cinderella IV for unstepping before the holidays so all that was required was for the boat to motor into the lifting pit in the morning where the crane was setting up.

With a foggy start to the day it looked like it was going to be cold and damp however within an hour the sun burnt this off giving us another perfect Palma winter day.

The mast came out with no issues and will now be stripped for painting while the Future Fibre PBO cables are shipped back to Valencia for testing.
