The hanging process for the 67meter, 1.5 Ton blade stay and inner forestay started at 8 this morning.

With the boat in the big lifting pit the stay and foil were positioned on trollies across the yard and the halyards for the lift attached. The lift started and with the RSB truck acting as the brake at the furler motor end of the stay as it was slowly winched up and into position for pinning at the top.

A small crane was then connected to the motor once the stay was 2/3's of the way up to take the weight of the furler motor which was then lifted over the rail and into position for the lower pin to be located. While this was going on the rest of the guys are connecting up hydraulic lines and setting up the boat for the tuning process to begin on Monday.
