Steve started RSB Rigging Solutions in September 2005. With his 20+ years experience as a yacht captain and involvement in the marine industry, Steve has built a loyal, motivated and talented team. He sails with many of RSB's clients in regattas worldwide keeping RSB in the forefront of the ever-changing superyacht industry.
Russ joined RSB in 2008 and is now responsible for the day to day management of the teams, project management, job planning and scheduling. With his sailing background, Russ has an excellent understanding of the high standards required in the industry. He also sails with a number of our clients including the Wally 94 Open Season, the Wally 77 J One and the 40 meter modern classic Maria Cattiva. He is present at most of the big-boat Mediterranean regattas. Russ has completed both the Future Fibres Service Technician course and the OYS rod heading and servicing course. Russ also sails on Wally Ciento, Open Season and J One.
Mark joined the RSB team as a project manager. His responsibilities include the overseeing of rig-pull and refit projects from start to finish. Mark has worked with several leading mast manufacturers and some of the largest sailing yachts in the world. He clearly understands the level of finish required by Captains. Mark has completed both the Future Fibres Service Technician course and the OYS rod heading and servicing course and carries out a majority of the rig inspections we undertake. Mark also sails with a number of our clients and can be found at Superyacht regattas both in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean.
Joining in 2012, Allan is well versed in all splicing techniques for both wire and rope. He has been involved in numerous projects, ranging from race boats and super yachts, to the re-rigging of large classic sail training ships. He has a chief mates license achieved during 10 years in the merchant navy. He also cruised extensively with his family on the east coast of South Africa, South America and the Caribbean. With his intimate knowledge of ropes, splicing, materials and hardware, Allan is able to deal with all projects efficiently and on time. He has also completed a servicing course for Equiplite hardware making RSB the official service centre in Mallorca. Allan recently completed LEEA courses and is qualified to inspect lifting equipment, cranes and safety hardware.
Marina has been with RSB since 2011 and is responsible for the administration of the company and the day to day running of the office. Her attention to detail, patience and efficiency mean that all our customers enjoy dealing with her. Marina deals with customer accounts, the requests for quotes and the purchasing and shipping of parts. Marina is very efficient and understands how important it is that schedules are adhered to and projects and paperwork are completed on time.
Natalia Martin has been with RSB Rigging since January 2015. She has been involved in the yachting industry in Mallorca for the past 6 years and is fluent in English, Spanish and Catalan. Natalia works closely with Marina to ensure the smooth running of the RSB office, she provides administration support for the team of project managers and riggers and deals with the transport, shipping and logistics.
Javier Cañellas started with us as our in house accountant at the beginning of 2017. He has more than 10 years experience working as a senior accountant in the hospitality industry and will bring this knowledge with him to strengthen our office team.
Ana Sanchez Saura joined RSB Rigging at the end of 2016 to aid the riggers with running the operations in the office. Originally a qualified Civil Engineer, Ana has over 15 years of experience focusing on the organisation and management of teams and the running of offices. Ana is an expert when it comes to development and operations of port facilities and high quality services to superyachts.
Andy joined us in 2010. He has been involved in the rigging industry for more than 10 years and brings a wealth of knowledge to the RSB team. Andy is involved with many of our refit projects and runs one of the yard teams that are responsible for preparing masts for unstepping or re-stepping. Andy has completed the Future Fibres Service Technicians course enabling him to deal with the servicing of composite cables and standing rigging and carry out mast and standing rigging inspections.
Chris, who was born in the Netherlands, started with RSB Rigging Solutions in January 2015 as a Project Manager. His introduction into the yachting world started when he was 18 years old as a sailing instructor, since then he has continued in the industry and has worked in the specialist field of yacht rigging for the last 20 years. RSB Rigging is one of the leading rigging companies worldwide and Chris has become the workshop foreman and deals with the day to day operations and working with Helmut on the maintenance program. Chris recently completed LEEA courses and is qualified to inspect lifting equipment, cranes and safety hardware.
Helmut joined RSB in 2008 and is a member of one of the teams responsible for the preparation of masts and booms for unstepping and re-stepping and general service work. He is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the machinery and equipment in the workshop and has proven to be a skilled and dedicated member of the team, always striving to complete each job to the highest standard.
Esteban has been with RSB since 2007 and is a member of one of the yard teams. He is extensively involved in all RSB's refit and retro-refit projects and has successfully completed the Future Fibres technician's training course making him one of our certified service agents. He is a keen sailor and understands the importance of high quality work and the requirements of the Superyacht market.
Sergi is skilled in both rope and leathering work, he works closely with Allan producing a wide range of running rigging, mooring lines, tow ropes and lifting cables. Sergi has also taken more of a role managing the day to day running of the running rigging department. With 10 years experience in the rigging domain, he joined RSB in October 2012 and has become a valuable member of the rope shop team.
Jose Luis joined RSB in June 2014. His fluency in English and training as a marine electrician make him a valuable member of the RSB team capable of working on a wide variety of technical problems. He holds an Ocean Yachtmaster qualification and has previously worked as a crew member on Superyachts giving him a good understanding of the projects and yachts he is involved with.
Ben started with us in May 2015 having spent the last couple of years working in Australia as an Advanced Rigger in the mining and oil industry. He has also worked in the Superyacht industry and brings with him a wealth of knowledge on heavy lifting and safety equipment testing. Ben recently completed LEEA courses and is qualified to inspect lifting equipment, cranes and safety hardware.
Francesc “Paco” Terrasa started work with RSB in 2015. He has taken on a project management role and is responsible for the day to day running of various refit projects and work. Having worked in the rigging industry for 10 years, he has experience in all aspects of Superyacht refits and has also completed Harken hydraulic servicing courses in Italy. He is a keen sailor who sails with a number of our customers in the various Superyacht regattas here in the Mediterranean.
Enric has been working as a rigger in Palma for five years and joined RSB as a member of one of our rigging teams on the 1st June 2016. Having learnt to sail at an early age, plus with a racing background and time spent as the captain of a classic sailing yacht, he has an intimate knowledge of whats involved with the rigging and maintenance of boats of all sizes.
Kalin started working with RSB in September 2016. He is a very experienced sailor and comes with more than 10 years of experience as a rigger with 4 years as a lead service technician for Southern Spars Composite Rigging then Future Fibres. He has an intimate knowledge of the EC6 and PBO products and has become a valuable member of the team dealing with servicing of composite rigging.
Marco started in the marine industry working with a company dealing with repair and maintenance of sailing boats. His interest in sailing lead him to take a number of sailing courses including the Yachtmaster qualification and complete a number of deliveries. He has been working for RSB Rigging since 2016 and has become a valuable member of the team.
