The RSB offices, splicing shop and workshop are situated in the new Global Building in the STP yard at the centre of the busy port of Palma de Mallorca. The yard has increased it's hard standing to 100,000 square meters and now has six hard standing areas with keel pits. The travel lift capacity has increased to 750T for vessels up to 60m.

During the refurbishment of services at STP the shore supplies were fully upgraded to include 3 phase 400 Amp electricity, compressed air, fresh and salt water outlets and wifi. There is also a fuel quay and 24 hour security.

As the yard is a public facility, any outside contractor conforming with Port Authority requirements can work in the yard. Palma has a unique concentration of highly skilled labour and expertise and it has firmly established itself as the refit capital of the Mediterranean.

With an international airport within 10 minutes drive from the yard and the city centre shops, restaurants and hotels within walking distance, Palma is one of the most popular refit yards for captains and crew from around the world.
