The RSB team are devastated to hear about the loss of Freddy Franssens and two other crew members in a tragic sailing accident that occurred during last weekend.
We have worked with Freddy on many projects at Hall Spars over the years and will miss him wandering into the shed with a big smile on his face looking to borrow some tools and grab a cup of coffee.
Freddie was an old school rigger with a huge amount of knowledge, but above all, he was a gentlemen.
We’ll miss you Freddy, RIP mate.
