During the first week of June 2016, RSB Rigging Solutions un-stepped the tallest aluminium mast in the world onboard the 56m Perini sloop Bayesian (ex Salute). The mast was prepped during the week prior to the rig pull by our riggers Andy, Jose and Martijn alongside Tony Hawker from Florida based Seahawks Rigging and despite the short period of time available for the set up it came out with minimal fuss. Steve Branagh, founder of RSB commented on the project,

‘We have hit a number of impressive milestones in the last few years giving us the well earned reputation of being the ‘go-to’ rigging company in the Mediterranean.    The team we have built over the years is capable of handling all situations, acting fast to find solutions for any mast, rigging, and rope related issues. We always understand that our clients work on tight schedules and expect the best and as such we take great care to make sure that all work carried out is to the highest standards resulting in a happy customer. These qualities, and the experience gained from years of working with large super yachts are why we are continually approached by the captains of sailing yachts like S/Y Bayesian. We have now unstepped her 74m rig and have begun the refit work necessary to ensure that the mast is ready to restep in early September.’

Astilleros de Mallorca, one of the most renowned refit and repair centres in Palma, is project managing her refit whilst her rig is out. This is the second headlining project for a Perini Navi built yacht that RSB Rigging and Astilleros de Mallorca have worked on together recently.
