RSB Rig Pro re-stepped the 65 meter mast onboard the Dubois designed sloop, Red Dragon earlier today.

Having postponed the stepping procedure by 24 hours due to to much wind, the weather was perfect for todays operation with bright sunshine and no wind. The mast was lifted using the biggest crane on the island and maneuvered over the boat with no hitches.

Two smaller cranes were used to bring the reacher and blade stays forward as the mast was dropped down through the partners onto the step. With the mast secured and the jacking procedure under way the lifting strops on the mast were removed and the crane rotated around to lift the 3000kg, 23 meter boom into position. By early afternoon the boat was able to leave the dock and head back to her berth where the RSB team continued the rig tune procedure.
