The RSB Rig Pro team successfully removed the 50mt mast from the Bruce King designed 40mt sloop, Maria Cattiva earlier today.

The mast has been removed to undergo a full rod refit during the winter months and will be tented and repainted during this period. The operation went ahead with no hitches and was completed ahead of schedule allowing for the removal of the headstays and furler units using the same cranes. The mast will now be stripped of rods and spreaders and a majority of the fittings will be removed for the painting process.
