RSB Rig Pro unstepped the 54 meter mast earlier today from the Dubois sloop Koo.
Having delayed the operation by a day due to a problem with the spartite material sticking in the mast partners, todays procedure went ahead with out any hitches and was completed on time. The 9 ton mast is out for a rod refit before the boat heads across to the Caribbean for the winter charter season, during this time it will also be repainted and a number of antennas and aerials will be replaced as will a majority of the running rigging onboard.
